Salary: Grade 3, £17,984 - £18,588 per annum. £11.79 - £12.18 per hour

35 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

Temporary until April 2025

The Governing Body of our friendly primary school with a strong Christian ethos, invite applications for a Teaching Assistant from as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will:

• Be fully committed to the centrality of the child in all we do and the importance of meeting their needs.
• Have a Teaching Assistant qualification at Level 2 or equivalent.
• Be resilient and adapt quickly to change.
• Able to use effective strategies to promote positive attitudes to learning.
• Be highly motivated with a very positive attitude and enjoy a challenge.
• Be nurturing and patient.
• Have a good understanding of SEND & adaptive teaching.
• Be an excellent practitioner with a desire to help children achieve.
• Have excellent skills in positive behaviour management.
• Behave in a professional manner within a team environment.
• Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work positively with children, parents and other stakeholders.
