Salary: £30,151 - £33,820 (Grade 6), £34,723 - £38,296 (Grade 7) per annum

Hours: 36.66 per week

Based: Various sites including some home working

Your role:

In Adult Social Care, we want to support our communities to achieve positive outcomes, and that our residents feel listened to and are encouraged and supported to live healthy and independent lives.  We recognise that social workers have one of the most challenging but rewarding roles.  We value our social workers, the fantastic work they do and the resilience they show by overcoming challenges every day.

Our residents are at the very heart of all we do and in line with our strength based, person centred approach our Social Workers help make sure our vulnerable adults are supported, safeguarded and enabled to lead their best lives. 

This role will work closely with our residents, social work practitioners and partners across the borough.  We highlight the importance of knowing our residents and spending time with them.

About you:

Are you a qualified Social Worker, whether that be early in your career or more experienced, who is an innovative, confident and energetic practitioner? 

Are you committed to achieving positive change for our most vulnerable adults whilst supporting your colleagues to learn, develop and deliver consistently good social work practice? 

Do you demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation and procedures?  You will have good time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands whilst valuing supervision, reflection and continuing professional development

You will be qualified to degree level, have an appropriate post qualifying award such as consolidation module, practice educator stage 1 and/or 2, Best interest Assessor or equivalent with significant experience and be Social Work England registered.

Above all you will be caring, friendly and passionate about making a difference.
