Teaching Assistant Level 3

The Trustees at Victorious Academies Trust would like to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 3 at Discovery Academy, Porlock Avenue, Hattersley, Hyde, SK14 3LE

To start: September 2024
Teaching Assistant Level 3 role Full-Time Salary - £25,979
This is a permanent, part-time role– 32 hours a week, Term Time Only with an actual salary of £19,761-£21,513
(TMBC Grade E, Points 11-16)
Working hours would be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8:30am – 3:30pm, Wednesday 8:30am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:45 – 3:30pm with 45mins for lunch.

Are you currently a Teaching Assistant with a Level 3 qualification?

Would you like to work as a TA3 for 32hrs per week supporting children?

If so, this permanent position could be of interest.

We need a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in our EYFS Reception class.

The successful candidate should be able to offer:
• Level 3 childcare qualifications or equivalent experience
• Experience of working in a school setting with a focus on 1:1 support of pupils
• Experience of working with high need SEND pupils
• Ability to work in a team
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to contribute to the full life of the school
• Evidence of going the extra mile for our pupils
• Flexibility of working hours with the opportunity for occasional overtime if required by the Academy
