Salary: NJC Scale 5, Points. 12-17 - Actual Salary: £23,105 - £25,490

 

Hours of Post: 37 Hours per Week  - Term Time plus 5 days (30-minute unpaid break each day)

 

7.30am – 3.15pm (Monday–Wednesday)

7.30am – 4.00pm (Thursday)

7.30am – 3.15pm (Friday)

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding practitioner to the post of Cover Manager. 

 

The successful candidate will be a dedicated and committed professional who will be responsible for organising cover for planned and unplanned staff absences across the school in accordance with the national guidelines, including ‘rarely cover’. 

 

This will include overseeing, maintaining and developing the school’s use of strategic and operational staffing, rooming, and calendar planning to ensure the effective continuation of learning and education across the school.

 

The effective management of staff cover, rooming, and calendar planning is critical to the current and future success of the school and as such this appointment is of immense importance to us as a team and as a school. The appointment will also offer the successful candidate the opportunity to contribute to our already successful school, in our bid to become Outstanding.
