Brookside Primary School is a thriving, inclusive, Resource school with committed and hardworking staff, thriving children and supportive parents.

We are looking to appoint a friendly, flexible and hard-working Caretaker, to work under the direction of the School Business Manager, for our school. 

We are seeking to appoint a hard-working, reliable person, who has excellent interpersonal skills to ensure that Brookside is a welcoming, clean and safe environment for everyone.

We are looking for someone who takes great pride in their work, pays attention to detail and is able to use their initiative to solve problems.

You will join our dedicated and hardworking team providing a wide range of administrative support.

The main purpose of the role is to undertake general maintenance of the school buildings and outside facilities, ensure statutory checks are being completed and to ensure that school is kept clean and tidy at a high standard.

The candidate will also maintain the security of the building and will be expected to help with practical support in arrangements for events such as PTFA Fairs.

The candidate will play an integral part in the safe and efficient operation of the school site.

This role is for someone who has the ability to meet challenges with initiative, determination and good humour and who has the commitment to support the ethos of our school.
