Leadership Salary Range: L5 to L9 (£52,074 to £57,482)

Start Date of Post: Require for September 2024

Due to the recent promotion of our Deputy Headteacher, the governors wish to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational teacher with excellent leadership and management skills to join our leadership team.

We are looking for someone to share our vision in continuing to build upon the achievements of this happy and successful Catholic school.  With the support of an excellent and dedicated staff as well as hardworking and motivated pupils, this represents a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate.  We aim to nurture and care for our children so that they not only achieve to the best of their individual ability academically, but become resilient, happy young people who are equipped to cope with all life that has to offer.

St Philip’s is a popular and vibrant Catholic Primary School which was rated “Outstanding” in the Section 48 inspection of 2018 and ‘Good’ by Ofsted in the most recent inspection of 2022.

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who:

•           is a practising Catholic with a commitment to Catholic Education and to the ethos and Catholic life of the school enshrined in our Mission Statement ‘Christ at the Centre’

•           is an outstanding teacher who inspires children and is able to share exemplary practice.

•           has the passion and ability to lead, inspire and motivate all members of our school community.

•           values all pupils as individuals and is committed to their wellbeing and academic progress, ensuring that they are confident and able to achieve their full potential.

•           can work in close partnership with the Headteacher leading our dedicated and talented staff.
