St Mary’s governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational leader, with a strong personal faith and with a vision to lead our high performing school in the next stage of its journey.

Our mission statement is central to all we do and our inclusive and nurturing ethos underpins all aspects of school life. It is a popular school, and currently has 231 pupils on roll. In our last OFSTED inspection in April 2023, we achieved a good outcome with outstanding elements in Personal Development. In our latest R.E. inspection in 2018, we were graded Outstanding in all areas.

The successful candidate will lead our team of staff who are totally committed to providing the absolute best for all our children. They will share our aim to unlock the potential within every member of the school by lovingly nurturing individuals and watching them grow into confident citizens. They will empower all individuals to continually strive to be ‘the best they can be,’ developing resilience and growth mindsets, always ‘persevering to succeed’ knowing they can make a positive difference to our world.
