Inclusion Leader (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator)

We are looking for a dedicated and highly skilled Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) to join the leadership team and deliver a dynamic inclusive approach to lead and manage SEND and inclusion across the school.

The successful candidate will be a qualified and passionate SENCo who is a committed and tireless advocate for children with SEN who face challenges in accessing the curriculum.

The successful candidate will need a can-do attitude and will have drive and boundless enthusiasm. Our SENCO must have a positive outlook, model best practice to the team and consistently strive for the very best for all our learners.

We welcome applicants from primary and secondary settings.

The successful candidate will:

· Have an excellent understanding of SEND legislation, policies and best practice

· Manage the consultation process ensuring adherence to the statutory timeframes.

· Lead on the development of SEN policy and provision with in the school

· Adhere to the framework around annual reviews

· Be supportive of the ethos and values of the school

· Be fully committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of all learners.
