The Governing Board of Brownhill Learning Community is seeking to appoint a Business Level 3 (Finance).

The Brownhill Learning Community is a federation of Brownhill Special School and the Pupil Referral Service who work together to provide education provision for school aged pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs who are out of the mainstream environment. There are four sites across Rochdale and pupils are placed according to their needs.

Our aim is to identify and meet individual learning needs through a nurturing environment. We are looking for candidates that are dynamic, inspirational, and able to work in an environment for children with significant challenges.

The post holder must be prepared to work on any of the 4 sites across the borough.

Please note the post is advertised as Business Level 3. Brownhill Learning Community are seeking to appoint a high quality candidate with expertise and experience in Finance

The funding streams for the Federation of Brownhill are quite complex and requires a highly competent Finance person to oversee and to advise the Headteacher and the Governing Board regarding all aspects of finance, monitoring and budgeting.

There is already a Resource Manager in post at BLC who oversees all aspects of HR. The successful candidate would work alongside the Resource Manager. Due to the Resource Manager post, the successful Business Level 3 candidate will be required to concentrate effectively on all aspects of Finance and budgeting.

The weeks of working can be flexible and negotiated with the successful candidate on their appointment

This post would be suitable for a person who is wishing to have more flexibility in the role of a Business Level 3
